Anyway, being there has been good but overwhelming. I am apparently replacing the best of the chemistry teachers, which puts some pressure on me. All of my five classes have between 33 and 38 students. Each class period is 2 hours long. And part of me wonders whether I know (or ever knew) enough chemistry to be qualified to teach it. Not to mention, being without a paycheck for the past three months has really taken its toll, and classroom supplies and copies for 175 students are anything but cheap.
But school starts Monday, and despite all my apprehension, I have no choice but to get psyched and prepare myself for the next 180 days. Wish me luck.
Congrats + good luck!!
Quit being such a prude. You can’t possibly think I want to type the word “ducking” that often, so stop correcting me already.
Profanity is a fact of life.
Horribly frustrating, but still not as bad as using T9 (or iTAP) where you can’t even swear without a handful of extra button presses.
I rotated a one of my photos of the Boston subway 90°counter-clockwise and the results are interesting. It looks like the spaceship from Fire in the Sky or Alien.Looks like the real world in the Matrix, if you see what i mean.
David’s Crif Dogs order. All three. He was upsold by the cashier.
Beautiful. I just had my first bacon-wrapped hot dog last night in the Mission… I’m not sure a better drunk food exists.
